Exclusive Artist Tour Features Artists Nominated for the 17th Annual ARTS Award
SAN FRANCISCO – October 31, 2005 – Franz Collection Inc. today nnounced a 12-city artist tour topping in (City) that will allow consumer’s in-person interaction with a designer of these hand-sculptured and hand painted, elegant porcelains.
Chih-Kun (James) Tsai, one of the sculptor’s of Franz Collection items, such as the award-winning Lady Bug teapot, cup and saucer and the exotic and ornate Tiger cup and saucer, will visit the following stores:

This unique opportunity allows Franz customers to witness the detailed hand sculpting of the Lady Bug teapot. The audience can observe as the sculpting techniques of Franz porcelain are created, bringing the nature-inspired designs to life before their eyes.
Items purchased during the event will be signed by artist, Chih-Kun (James) Tsai.
The artist event is free of charge and open to the public.

The works from Franz Collection generally take the nature as themes and we try to represent them with the original and true affection,” said Chih-Kun (James) Tsai, featured touring artist from Franz Collection Inc. “Sculpture has always been my favorite and specialty. I admire realistic, abstractive and plastic arts.”
This artist tour coincides with Franz Collection’s nomination in the tabletop category for the prestigious 17th Annual ARTS Award, the premier home decorative accessories industry award.

The ARTS Awards will be presented at a gala event during the Dallas International Gift and Home Accessories Market, Saturday, January 21, 2006. This is the inaugural year for the tabletop category of the ARTS Awards. Nominated by retailers and other industry officials, finalists are judged on portfolios consisting of company history, philosophy, product development, marketing, merchandising and customer relations.
