DMC and ART Announce Finalists for 17th Annual ARTS Awards
DALLAS--August 22, 2005--Dallas Market Center (DMC), the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, and the Accessories Resource Team (ART) today announced finalists for the 17th Annual ARTS Awards.
The ARTS Awards, presented at a gala event each January during the Dallas International Gift and Home Accessories Market, is the premier awards program for the home decorative accessories industry. Winners will be announced Academy Awards-style at the next ARTS Awards gala in Dallas, Saturday, January 21, 2006, held in the Great Hall of 2300 Stemmons (formerly the International Apparel Mart).
“We work together with the Accessories Resource Team to recognize the industry’s best and to inspire excellence,” said Bill Winsor, Dallas Market Center president and CEO. “We look forward to bringing the industry together for an evening of special honors and fun.”
The finalists will submit a detailed portfolio to the panel of distinguished judges recently announced. The portfolios will consist of information such as company history, philosophy, product development, marketing, merchandising and customer relations.
In November, the panel of judges will convene in Dallas for two days to individually review each company’s submission. Once judging is completed, a designated accounting firm will tabulate the sealed ballots.
The 17th Annual ARTS Awards are co-sponsored by: Lyon Credit Services; Accessory Merchandising; Contract Lighting; FurnitureStyle; Gifts & Decorative Accessories; HFN; Home Accents Today; Home Fashion & Furniture Trends; Home Lighting & Accessories; and Residential Lighting.
Tickets to the ARTS Awards dinner are $125 per person and $95 for Accessories Resource Team members. For more information contact Daniella Giglio at 214-672-8420.
